Apollo Sage Hospital Conducts First CME on Bone Tumors in Bhopal

Apollo Sage Hospital, Bhopal conducted a CME on Management of Malignant Bone Tumors on Sunday 4th June 2023. It was first of its kind event in Bhopal dedicated to the management of Bone Cancers. Apollo Sage Hospital, Bhopal has facilities for the complete treatment of Bone Cancers and is one of the few centers in India where dedicated Orthopaedic Oncology services exist. The event was organized by Dr Vivek Tiwari, Senior Orthopaedic Consultant and Joint Replacement & Bone Tumor Surgeon at Apollo Sage Hospital. The event was attended by various eminent oncologists and Orthopaedic Surgeons of Bhopal. Dr Gautam Sharan, Senior Radiation Oncologist gave his lecture on “Management of Malignant Bone Tumors: Radiotherapy Perspective”. Dr TP Sahoo, Senior Medical oncologist gave a talk on “Systemic Therapies in Common Bone Tumors”. Dr Vivek Tiwari spoke on “Current concepts in limb salvage surgery for malignant bone tumors”. The chief guests for the function were Dr Sanjiv Gaur and Dr Umesh Batra. Apollo Sage Hospital has also various provisions for the complete treatment of poor and unaffording bone cancer patients.
