Dr. Shahnawaz Danish is a distinguished Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist with a vast surgical experience of over 12 yrs. and exclusive Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreatobiliary surgical experience of over 4years.He got his MS surgical training from PGI Chandigarh and MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from G. B Pant Hospital, New Delhi, both are among the premier institute of India. He is among those surgeon who has a keen interest in improving his skill and knowledge for enhanced patient safety and hence he didn’t stop after MCh rather moved forward to get special training in Hepatobiliary surgery and Liver transplant from BLK- Max hospital, New Delhi where he managed live donor Liver transplant patient both in and out of OT. He operates both recipient and donor for Liver transplant. He has keen interest in all GI surgery including GI cancers like stomach cancer, GIST,Gall bladder cancer, pancreatic and periampullary cancer, bile duct cancer, colon and rectal cancer, small bowel cancer,cholangiocarcinoma, Liver tumors and Hepatocellular carcinoma. Besides doing cancer he also does many of non-cancerous cases like Gallstone, CBD stone, Choledochal cyst, chronic pancreatitis, Pseudocyst pancreas, Hydatid cyst disease of liver , Liver abscess.
