Dr. Saikat Datta is a highly experienced and compassionate Hematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) specialist. With over a decade of focused expertise in clinical hematology, hemato-oncology, and stem cell transplantation, Dr. Datta is known for his patient-centric approach and evidence-based care.He completed his DM in Clinical Haematology from the prestigious Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine, Kolkata, followed by advanced BMT training at the renowned ACTREC, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He pioneerd establishing Bone Marrow Transplant services first-time in Bhopal.Dr. Datta has keen interest in medical research. He worked as senior research fellow with ICMR for 2 years after his graduation. He actively contributed to the scientific community through national and international publications and posters and has been a regular speaker at leading hematology national conferences. He, in collaboration with researcher of Aalborg University, Denmark; devised AI based thalassemia detection index which was published in high impact factor Jounal of Advance Research in 2019.With special interests in acute and chronic leukemias, MDS/MPNs, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and haploidentical transplants, Dr. Datta is committed to offering cutting-edge diagnostics and curative treatment strategies to patients with blood disorders and blood cancers.
