He completed his MBBS in 1994 from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and PGDGM from Amrita Institute of medical sciences, Kochi & IGNOU in 2004. Later he pursued M.H.A from ICFAI University in 2010. He was honored with the Madhya Pradesh Ratna Award in 2019 and Excellence in Geriatrics Care in 2020. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Medical Association, a lifetime member of the Geriatrics Society of India, and an Overseas member of the British Geriatrics Society.
